Learn how to set up your first Minecraft server with OustCloud in just a few minutes.
Step 1: Choose Your Plan
Visit our billing page and select the plan that best fits your needs. For beginners, we recommend starting with our Budget plan which supports up to 20 players.
Step 2: Server Configuration
Once your order is processed, you'll see your server details in the customer panel. Access your control panel using the credentials provided there.
Step 3: Basic Settings
- Set your server name and description
- Configure game mode (Survival, Creative, Adventure)
- Set difficulty level
- Enable/disable PvP
Step 4: Start Your Server
Click the "Start Server" button in your control panel. Your server will be ready in 30-60 seconds.
💡 Tip: Your server IP address will be shown in the control panel. Share this with your friends to let them join your server!

For Java Edition
- Open Minecraft Java Edition
- Click "Multiplayer"
- Click "Add Server"
- Enter your server name and IP address
- Click "Done" and then "Join Server"
For Bedrock Edition
- Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition
- Go to "Play" → "Servers"
- Scroll down and click "Add Server"
- Enter server details and port number
- Click "Save" and join your server

Creating Manual Backups
- Go to the "Backups" section in your control panel
- Click "Create Backup"
- Enter a description for your backup
- Click "Start Backup Process"
Restoring from Backup
- Stop your server
- Go to "Backups" and select the backup you want to restore
- Click "Restore" and confirm
- Wait for the restoration process to complete
- Start your server
⚠️ Warning: Restoring a backup will overwrite your current server data. Make sure to create a backup before restoring if needed.

- Go to the "Plugins" section in your control panel
- Browse our curated library of popular plugins
- Click "Install" on any plugin you want
- The plugin will be automatically downloaded and installed
- Restart your server if it didn't automatically restart
Method 2: Manual Installation (.jar files)
If you want to install a plugin not in our library, you can manually upload it:
- Download the plugin .jar file from a trusted source
- Access your server's File Manager
- Navigate to the "plugins" folder
- Upload the plugin .jar file
- Restart your server

- Select your new plan
- Pay the prorated difference
- Your server will be upgraded automatically after payment
Downgrading Your Plan
- Contact support to request a downgrade
- Ensure your server data fits the new plan limits
- The downgrade takes effect on your next billing cycle
- You'll receive a prorated credit
